According to the official policies of the Town of Thermopolis, its Mayor, William R. "Bill" Malloy, serves as Town Administrator. As such, he is the Chief Executive Officer of the Town, so designated by the voters.
Bill does spend a portion of most days at Town Hall and maintains an office there for appointments and meetings. He maintains an "open door" policy and welcomes visitors and residents alike to meet him for a cup of coffee at Town Hall.

Assistant to the Mayor Fred Crosby helps Bill with the day-to-day administrative affairs of the Town. Accordingly, Fred is responsible to the Mayor and Council for making sure their directives are carried out.
