The position performs skilled work in the operation of equipment and machinery used in construction, maintenance and repair activities. Position also includes manual labor on street-related projects. Successful applicant should have experience operating at least two of the following: backhoe, front-end loader, road grader, large garbage collection truck and/or other heavy equipment. Employee will work under the general supervision of the Street Superintendent and direct supervision of the Assistant Street Superintendent. Must have the ability to learn and follow standard safety practice and written and oral instructions. Must possess a Wyoming commercial driver license (CDL), or be able to obtain one. Salary will be dependent on experience (DOE). Contract position is expected to be from April 15, 2013 through October 31, 2013, with possibilities for a renewal, depending on workload.
