About the Thermopolis Police Department
The Thermopolis Police Department is a professional agency serving the approximately 3,500 residents of Thermopolis and East Thermopolis. The department is comprised of eight professional, sworn officers and six civilian employees.
The Thermopolis Police Department is a community oriented department committed to providing the best possible service to our community. Ideas and feedback are always welcome from our community in an effort to determine how best to serve the law enforcement needs of our residents.

Animal control - The animal control officer for the Thermopolis Police Department is Laura Inman. Contact her through the Thermopolis Police Department main line at 307 864-3114. Laura strives to enforce Statutes relative to animals in a humane and compassionate manner. The Town of Thermopolis contracts with Bill Williams, DVM at Hot Springs Veterinary Clinic for boarding services. Hot Springs Veterinary Clinic is located at 827 South Sixth Street in Thermopolis.
